MANCHESTER United will be looking to continue their mini-revival when they meet Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon.
The clouds were circling above Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s head earlier this month but a trio of victories have helped ease some of the pressure that has been building on the United boss’ shoulders.
The Red Devils showed signs of recovery with a well-deserved 3-1 at Everton, on an afternoon where both of my recommended bets landed, however, United required a retaken penalty to record an unconvincing win over West Brom last weekend.
Solskjaer’s side made it three wins on the spin as they beat Istanbul Basaksehir 4-1 in midweek, but the Old Trafford outfit can expect a tougher test when they travel to in-form Southampton on Sunday.
The Saints suffered a bit of a stuttering start to the current campaign, however, they now find themselves in the midst of an eye-catching seven-game unbeaten run.
